Royal Mayfair

Established in 1922, the Royal Mayfair Golf Club in Edmonton’s River Valley undertook a complete transformation. Aimed to provide an enhanced membership experience, the project included the design of a new clubhouse, renovation of the existing pro shop building, and the expansion of the outdoor dining and patio space.

The dining room, spike bar and pro shop are designed to accentuate the spectacular views of the surrounding golf course, providing direct access to the expanded outdoor social areas. The new clubhouse seeks to provide a legacy for future generations to come.

The lobby welcomes its’ guests with both physical and visual organization, ensuring easy access and clear wayfinding to the various member areas. Natural and neutral interior materials weave seamlessly into the design, mirroring the beauty of the surrounding environment.

Consideration was given to the relationship between the exterior and interior spaces through design focused elements and materials used. Member experience was enhanced through offerings like a private dining room, custom wine lockers, member business centre, and a high-performance golf centre and training facilities including 3 simulators.
