Ian Evans

Ian Evans

In short, Ian is design and design is Ian. If you’ve met Ian, you’ll know his passion for architecture is contagious. If you haven’t, a scroll through our selection of projects speaks volumes about his design philosophy and beliefs. Principal and Design Director of HSEA, Ian sees each project as an opportunity to create something that not only has aesthetic merit, but more importantly has value beyond the physical.

Ian believes architecture is not in isolation. Sometimes, rather most times, architecture is the backdrop to something much more meaningful – human connection and experience. Ian’s designs reach past the built environment and into the lives of those who inhabit it. Ian’s ability to listen, translate, and work collaboratively results in the high-quality designs seen throughout his work here in Edmonton.
